The Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture is proud to partner with Arts Every Day to present the fifth annual 10×10 Exhibit, featuring over 130 works of art created by Baltimore City Public School students and teachers. For this exhibit, students and teachers were invited to think about ways art— in its many forms— can be used to inform, create discourse, and further understanding. Through generous support from UMBC’s Charlesmead Foundation, this exhibition celebrated and elevated voices of Baltimore City students and teachers. CADVC’s Fall 2021 exhibition, Southern Rites functioned as the starting point to engage students in conversation, reflection, and creative response.
