Partnerships

More than 30 partnerships with organizations in the Baltimore metropolitan area in the past decade have been developed, often driven by our exhibition programs.

Current and past partnerships include:

CADVC Partnerships With UMBC

CADVC has a productive history of partnering with a variety of academic departments and offices at UMBC in relation to K-12 educational outreach and other programs. Past partners include The Shriver Center, UMBC Honors College, Dresher Center for the Humanities, Student Life Office, IRC and Students for Environmental Awareness.

A recent list of departmental partnerships includes Biological Sciences, Education, Mechanical Engineering, Interdisciplinary Studies, Geography and Environmental Systems, American Studies, Africana Studies, Visual Arts, Sociology and Anthropology, and Modern Languages and Linguistics.

CADVC School Partnerships

CADVC has worked with dozens of schools and after-school programs since the gallery opened. On average, the Center works intensively with four to six schools each year. Thousands of students have visited the Center for tours and have participated in the art programs developed by CADVC, often working with UMBC graduate and undergraduate students and UMBC faculty.
